SA Water have always had a proactive approach to energy reduction and reducing their environmental footprint. They have developed an ambitious program of work that will see the energy they generate and export to the market off-set the cost of the electricity they draw from the grid and network charges, to achieve a zero-net outcome.

Enerven have managed the maintenance contract with ElectraNet since 1998 and continue to go above and beyond for them to this day.

Helping to strengthen our power network creating a secure power supply  for South Australians

ElectraNet were looking for a turnkey solution in design and construction of a new 275/66kV substation with one 225MVA 275/66kV transformer at Mount Barker South 

The team were proactive in their approach and came up with a solution that would ensure the work would go ahead; rain, hail or shine.

Tesla's plan will see 50,000+ homes have solar PV and a Powerwall battery system installed, creating the world's largest Virtual Power Plant (VPP)

The Cultana Substation Augmentation Project forms a key element of ElectraNet's broader operational network strategy to reinforce electricity supply to the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia 

“Enerven worked collaboratively with ElectraNet on this project to ensure their custom requirements for Gas Insulated Switchgear were met and to the highest standards.

This project involved the construction of a new 275kV Cut-In Tower and temporary Bypass Tower for the Hornsdale Wind Farm including the installation of 30km's of OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) across 217 Lattice Tower structures.
