Enerven awarded two NBN Co contracts

Two exciting NBN Co contracts have been awarded to Enerven, marking the continuation of a strong partnership between Enerven and NBN Co.

Enerven has secured the contract to complete the Regional Connectivity Program (RCP) builds in Western Australia (co-funded between the federal government and nbn), as well as a contract to upgrade regional areas throughout South Australia from Fibre to the Node (FTTN) to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) under NBN Co’s Fibre Connect program, which seeks to enable full-fibre access for eligible premises across Australia.

Enerven has successfully secured the N2P works for parts of regional South Australia, upgrading current FTTN areas to become nbn fibre FTTP capable, which will give eligible homes and businesses the option to access the highest wholesale speed tiers on the nbn® fixed line network. Enerven is responsible for the upgrade of approx. 41,600 of these premises throughout SA under the Fibre Connect program.

Enerven are extremely proud to be working with nbn again to deliver direct benefits to the wider community, as well as utilising local companies in the delivery of this program.

Additionally, the WA contract works under the Regional Connectivity Program (RCP) speaks to Enerven’s experience in successfully delivering nbn FTTP upgrade works, having recently completed the FTTP build project in Jabiru in the Northern Territory Kakadu National Park.

The WA RCP contract takes Enerven personnel, along with WA based contractors, to Onslow and Fitzroy Crossing to build FTTP full fibre nbn networks to areas previously served by nbn satellite services.
